Different types of breathing that I’ve done during my meditation and mindful sessions

EverythingReviewsWhat's On

There are three different types of breathing that I’ve done in a meditation session and they are:

Ocean breath

Lion breath

I will explain what each one is and how you do them

An ocean breath is combining deep breathing with the sound of the ocean to create calm, focus, clarity and overall well-being.

How you do an ocean breath is:

  • Breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth, then in and out through your nose

A firebreath is where you breathe in and out quickly and this expands your chest.

A lion breath is where you stick your tongue out and put your head forward like a lion would and make a ha sound.

All of these are good to do if you’re feeling stressed or tense, as it helps you to feel relaxed.
