I was born and bred in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and eventually I started my own family in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I am passionate about the Yorkshire region and making the most of all the places to go, things to experience, days out and  produce to taste with my family.
I wanted to create a one-stop-shop guide for families in Yorkshire so they can find fun and interesting things to do with children, teens and grown-ups whatever the weather or time of year and, whether or not they are locals.
I am also keen to support the local economy because, as well as being a Journalist and Blogger, I co-own businesses too, so I want to support other suppliers and organisations, too help make this region as fruitful as possible for everyone.
I hope Yorkshire Families will show the world all the best things Yorkshire has to offer for any family.
