GO APE! Testing out all the treetop adventure challenges across the uk!

Swinging through the treetops and squealing with joy, it felt amazing to be enjoying an adventurous day out with my Children and friends as we experience a treetop adventure together.

I love going on active family days out but itâ€™s often hard to find somewhere that will cater for both my daughters (aged 8 and 5) and for it to be fun for us grown-ups too. But after first experiencing Go Ape in Temple Newsam (to write a review for https://atomic-temporary-150443201.wpcomstaging.com) with my eldest brother and step dad where we did the hardest challenge the Treetop Adventure (for those taller than 1.4m), I was desperate to return to Go Ape! with my own daughters and take on the Treetop Adventure (you can also do Treetop Adventure+ in between the two courses for those over 1.2m and for adult beginners).
So as soon as we heard that Go Ape! was back open following lockdown 2020, we jumped at the chance to review the Treetop Adventure course at the site in Normanby Hall, near Scunthorpe (to write a review for https://mamamei.co.uk and https://blogupnorth.co.uk).

We had that much fun, quality time together in our unconventional family and some much needed exercise in the open air, that we have decided to embark on an even bigger adventure…

My children, our friends and I are going to take on every single Go Ape Treetop Adventure course in the UK over the course of a year to prove that everyone can get active and have fun together whilst also taking on challenges and spending some quality team-building time together!
