Carlton Social Club Wakefield

We are a Friendly & Welcoming social club that has been established in the

small village of Carlton (Wakefield) for many years. Carlton Social Club is a CIU-affiliated club

open to both members and non-members, conveniently located on the main street in Carlton.

The club is extremely spacious, with bars, function room for hire and many other facilities

including Free WIFI.

We have entertainment on every Saturday night which caters for all ages, and includes

a cabaret performance, Bingo, Chase The Joker and Play Your Cards Right.

Bradley Arms   A warm welcoming country pub.   With a roaring open fire for the winter months, or a large spacious beer garden out rear, with a childrens play area during the summer, this pub is friendly and has a relaxing atmosphere.

We serve food through the week, and host a variety of real Cask Ales, alternating weekly. We also have a selection of spirits and lagers, and have introduced a brand new wine selection.

If you don’t want an alcoholic drink, we are now serving a variety of coffees, in the Nescafe Dolce range. So you can relax with a nice coffee and also make use of our free WiFi!

The Junction –  

Earlier in the the 19th Century known as the New Inn. A traditional exterior and relatively unspoilt interior; what must have once been two buildings offer a long lounge and busy public bar that looks out on to the road junction, useful place for pub food in the town; Wallers Fine Home-brewed Ales were brewed here. That landlord was also a blacksmith!

Busy locals’ pub with a public bar and 3 other drinking areas. It holds quizzes twice weekly and has darts and domino teams in the local charity league. Winner of several local CAMRA awards including the Branch Pub of the Year 1998, Pub of the Season in 2011 & Wakefield CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2013. It holds an annual Beer Festival. The Henry Smith Brewery is behind the pub, although some house beers are brewed at Revolutions.

Three Jolly Sailors, Scarborough

This Grade II listed pub, formerly a farmhouse dating back to the early 19th century with later alterations, is located in Burniston village at the A165/A171 junction.  There are three rooms; the main bar, restaurant, and conservatory.  Of note is the low timber-beamed ceiling of the main bar. Home-cooked meals are served lunchtimes and evenings. Occasional live entertainment features at weekends. A spacious beer garden is situated to the side of the pub and a large car park to the rear.
