This was the penultimate home game of the Premier League season for Leeds United and the final home one without fans, as on 23rd May season ticket holders only will be allowed in for the final game.
It was 11th placed Leeds United playing in white against 6th placed Tottenham playing in green.
Realistically, this game was more important for Tottenham as they needed to win to have any chance of Champions League football next season, but could Leeds end the season unbeaten at home against the Big Six?

After five minutes, Kane’s ball towards Son was headed behind by Llorente. The resulting corner was low and flicked on by Bale at the near post, but Leeds hammered clear.
Two minutes later, a quick move by Leeds as Harrison slid the ball through for Bamford, who hit a low left footed shot back across goal and near the far post, but Lloris got down sharply and got a strong hand to the ball.
A couple of minutes later, from a Leeds corner the ball reached Harrison at the far post who managed to hook the ball back into the danger area, it reached Struijk but under pressure he could only shoot over.
After 13 minutes, crisp passing by Leeds as they worked the ball to Roberts on the edge of the penalty area, shifted the ball onto his right foot and got a shot away from the edge of the penalty area, but Alderweireld got a vital block in.
1st Leeds goal
In the same minute Leeds went ahead as Harrison did superbly on the left, got past Aurier easily before whipping in a low, dangerous, cross which was testing for the Spurs defenders and the ball was turned towards his on net by Reguilon. Lloris reacted quickly to stop the own goal but could only parry it out to Dallas who thumped the ball into the roof of the net with a right footed shot.
After a quarter of a hour, Spurs nearly responded as Bale flicked on a corner at the near post, he glanced it goalwards but the ball hit Alli, who was inside the 6 yard box and tried to get out of the way, as the ball dropped into space but Leeds reacted first to clear.
Four minutes later, Son turned the ball into the path of Alli who quickly got a right footed shot away, but Koch blocked.
Spurs equaliser
Just past the midway point of the first half, Alli was given far too much space to charge forward, he picked Son out who raced clear and side footed his right foot shot past Meslier.
Just before the half hour mark, Harrison brought Leeds forward again, cut in from the left, before he unleashed a right footed shot from inside the penalty area and Lloris tipped it over the bar.
On the half hour mark, the ball was laid back to Koch who drilled a right footed shot goalwards from 25 yards, the ball hit Hojberg and deflected wide.
A minute later, quick football from Spurs as Son played the ball to Alli who quickly played the ball into Kane who clipped it over Meslier and into the back of the net , the flag went up for offside, VAR checked it and it was marginal but they decided Kane was fractionally offside.
A couple of minutes later, Koch ran across the near post, got his head to the ball but his header flicked off Bale and flashed over the bar.
After 38 minutes, Kane twisted and turned inside the Leeds area, and he looked to get a shot away, Struijk kept tight on Kane and eventually got the ball first and cleared.
2nd Leeds goal
Five minutes before halftime, a brilliant team goal by Leeds, Dallas did really well to stay on his feet after getting fouled by Lo Celso, the ref played on and Harrison and Alioski combined for a cross by Alioski and Bamford on the move got in front of Dier to tap in.

It was a good first half of football all round, two good Leeds goals, a goal disallowed for Kane, chances for both teams, Leeds probably edged it, how would the 2nd half go?
A minute into the 2nd half, Alioski was overlapping to good effect to win a throw deep in Spurs half, but Leeds didn’t make any momentum from that
A couple of minutes later, Kane had the ball in the net again but this time he was a yard offside.
After 51 minutes, Lloris had to stick a big hand out to punch a Leeds corner away , Spurs were able to keep the ball and break which was ended by Koch who got the 1st booking o the game.
A couple of minutes later, Leeds broke and set a chance up for Roberts but he hit the right foote shot with no convinction and his effort dribbled wide.
After 55 minutes, Kane looked to score a legitimate goal this time but after he cut inside, he pulled his right footed shot wide.
Then poor play from the back by Leeds and Son went close, he bought himself a yard in the box and fired a left footed shot intot he sidenetting.
On the hour mark, Son picked Kane’s pass up and it opened up for him for a split second , he shot with his right foot outside the box but Struijk slid in to make a vital block.
After 63 minutes, another big save by Lloris who did brilliantly well to palm Klich’s shot away from goal.
A couple of minutes later, Son whipped a dangerous cross into the Leeds area, but Bamford headed clear.
With twenty minutes left, Aurier’s cross took a deflection off Alioski and flew towards goal, Meslier was going the other way, but he adjusted his feet quickly and leapt to the left to push the ball away to safety. A minute later, Spurs freekcik in a dangerus area on the edge of the Leeds penalty area, Kane took it and he lifted it over the wall, but didn’t have enough dip on it and clipped the bar.
After 74 minutes, at the other end Klich had a shooting chance inside Spurs box, he got his shot away but Lo Celso slid in to make a superb block.
A couple of minutes later, Leeds broke on counter as Klich and Bamford combined before Harrison played a 1-2 with Klich but Harrison’s left footed curler went over the bar.
After 78 minutes, Lo Celso found Kane to the left, who put Lamela in on the overlap but Meslier made a good stop with his legs.
With eight minutes remaining, Dier’s ball towards Kane was well defended by Alioski as Leeds then broke down the left, ALioski was involved as his cross towards Raphinha was snuffed out by Lloris.
A minute later, Harrison played the ball inside for Klich who steadied himself for a right footed shot but it went inches over Lloris’ left hand post.
3rd Leeds goal
With five minutes left, another brilliant Leeds goal as Raphinha was played clean through down the left, level with Dier, who came across to meet him but Raphinha laid it square to Rodrigo to flash a left footed shot into the bottom corner, VAR checked it but he was onside.
In stoppage time, Alioski’s ball towards Rodrigo was flicked on by Reguilon straight back to Rodrigo who set Dallas up for a first time shot but Lloris made the save.
The last action came in the 3rd minute of stoppage time as Lamela went it alone down the other end, despite having a Son in support, but he dragged his shot wide.

So a good all round Leeds United performance against one of the Big Six who needed the win for Champions League hopes. It meant at home Leeds were unbeaten for the season against the Big Six.
The win put Leeds onto 50 points after 35 games which is an outstanding achievement first season back at this level and they went upto 9th but after other results ended the weekend 10th.
