This was a chance for Leeds to get a 2nd win of the season, against a Wolves side who have won 4 out of their last 5. It was also the first time this season where Covid spot checks were happening outside the ground.
It was 17th placed Leeds playing in white against 10th placed Wolves playing in all gold.
It was played at Elland Road and it was a raucous atmosphere as always.
After 8 minutes, Rodrigo had a header from the right side of the 6 yard box, but missed to the left.

2 minutes later, Jimenez had a left footed shot from centre of the box blocked, in the same minute Wolves went ahead as Chan’s right footed shot from centre of the box went into the centre of the goal.
Three minutes later, Raphinha’s left footed shot from outside the box was saved in bottom right corner.
Just after the 20 minute mark, Kilman had a header from the left side of the 6 yard box but went just too high. Then a minute later, Klich’s right footed shot from the left side of the box was saved in the centre of the goal.
Five minutes later, Harrison had a left footed shot from the left side of the box which went close, but missed to the left. Then Rodrigo had a left footed shot outside the box blocked.
Then just before the half hour, Raphinha’s left footed shot from the right side of the box was blocked.
The last real 1st half chance went to Leeds again as Llorente header from centre of the box was blocked.

So it was a first half of Leeds dominance but it was Wolves who led, could Leeds get a goal in the 2nd half?
After 47 minutes, Raphinha had a left footed shot outside the box which missed to the right.
A couple of minutes later, Ait-Nouri had a shot for Wolves with his left foot from a difficult angle on the left which was saved.
Four minutes later, LLorente’s header from centre of the box was high and wide to the left. Then a minute later, Raphinha got stood on and had to go off. Then a minute later, Jimenez had a right footed shot from outside the box which was saved.
With 20 minutes remaining, Moutinho had a right footed shot outside the box which went just too high. A minute later, Roberts had a header from centre of the box which went close, but missed to the left.
After 78 minutes, Roberts had a right footed shot outside the box which missed to the left. Then a minute later, the substitute Gelhardt had a left footed shot from centre of the box which was saved in the top left corner, it was all Leeds, could they find a equaliser?
A minute later, Cooper’s header from centre of the box missed to the left. Then a minute later, Summerville had a right footed shot from the right side of the box was blocked. Then a minute later, a rare Wolves attack as Podence had a right footed shot outside the box saved.
With four minutes left, Dallas had a right footed shot outside the box blocked.
In the 90th minute, Podence had a right footed shot from the left side of the box blocked.
Leeds penalty and equaliser
In the 3rd minute of 6 added on, good play by Leeds and Semedo bundled Gelhardt over in the penalty area, and the ref after a little delay awarded the penalty to Leeds, Rodrigo took it and scored into the bottom left corner with a left footed shot and Elland Road erupted, could Leeds have time to get a winner?
In the last minute of stoppage time, Gelhardt had a left footed shot from the right side of the box which was blocked after Roberts crossed it.

A good performance by Leeds who may feel they did enough to take all 3 points, but a draw is a draw and it’s another point to the Leeds tally.
Leeds remain 17th and 3 points clear of Burnley and Newcastle.
