SOAP AND BATH BOMB MAKING WORKSHOP PARTY IN SHEFFIELD, SOUTH YORKSHIRE: Our review of The Soap Loaf Company

Everything

If you’re looking for a holiday treat for all the family we’d really recommend a The Soap Loaf Company workshop. We were excited as soon as we arrived.

Natasha welcomed us as we smiled breathing in the lovely fragrances. Our eyes feasted on the displays of colourful natural beauty products, including environmentally friendly bamboo products-toothbrushes, soap dishes, great containers.

Our visit doubled up as a birthday celebration with tea in china cups. The children dipped through straws from lidded pint glasses of orange juice.

HOW TO MAKE SOAP

Natasha guided us step by step and we chose from a wide range of fragrances such as dewberry, aloe Vera, Jasmine, orange & cardamom and even chocolate. There was more fun ahead as we selected colours. We had a choice of adding Shea butter to our soap to moisturise the skin, or coconut oil. I chose Shea butter, coloured my soap translucent pink and set rose petals scented with aloe Vera.

BATH BOMB MAKING

The bit the children and us adults loved was mixing the bath bombs as they fizzed in our hands.

With such a range of fragrances, colours and flower petals we all came up with unique handmade products. Even better we were given natural waxed brown paper to wrap the soaps and bath bombs in to take home as gifts.

ECO-FRIENDLY GIFTS

It was a really good family activity and Natasha makes sure that what ever age you are it was easy and fun. On the way out we were pleased to buy some of the bamboo products and keen to do one of the workshops to make an aerosol-free deodorant stick, shampoo bars and the list goes on:
