Attractions include live music, theatre, arts & crafts activities. It is being held in the formerly private Wentworth Woodhouse gardens.

What is We Wonder Festival? 

The WE Wonder festival invites you to follow your nose into a new festival within the hidden gardens of the spectacular Wentworth Woodhouse.

We will be hosting some of the leading outdoors arts performers in partnership with Without Walls. Audiences will encounter Ear Trumpet, The Band at the End of the World, The Playground of Illusions and much more that will immerse you into new creative worlds.

Grimm & Co will present the Enchanted Glade; offering music, theatre and wondrous delights. The Forest of Bewilderment will allow you to gain a first taste of Bushcraft and woodland skills. Cardboard Camp by Responsible Fishing will embrace your imagination to create cardboard follies, dens and towns of the future.

The site will be full of artworks, workshops and experiences that allow you to explore nature, creativity and heritage in new ways. WE Wonder allows you to escape your every day into an exclusive event that allows you to wander discovering the unexpected.

The entrance to Wentworth Woodhouse is accessed off Corthworth Lane, follow the event signage.

For sat nav users, please use postcode S62 7TQ.

Tickets

Can my tickets be changed?

No, the tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

What happens if I cannot attend?

Unfortunately, due to high demand for tickets, they are non-refundable and not transferable.

Will refunds be offered if the event is cancelled due to poor weather conditions?

If Wentworth Woodhouse has to cancel the event before the advertised start time then full refunds will be offered.

Parking and Accessibility

Will there be plenty of free parking?

There will be plenty of car parking on site, please follow the traffic management signage. You will be parked by a member of the Traffic Management Team – please follow instruction to allow for safe access to WE Wonders. Blue Badge parking will be available on the day of the event – please bring your badge.

How far is the walk around WE Wonder Festival?

It is a 50-acre site made up of formal parks & gardens – explore!

Is site re-entry allowed? What do I do if I need to pop back to the car for something I’ve forgotten?

Yes, you will be able to re-enter WE Wonder, please keep your event wristband on and show to the admissions team on re-entry.

Is it wheelchair/ pushchair friendly?

WE Wonder makes use if the paths around the property, however, these may be gravel or grass in places and have a slight incline/decline at the times. Some areas will only be accessible on foot.

Can we book a wheelchair/mobility scooter?

Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to pre-book a wheelchair for use during the event.

Are dogs allowed into the event?

No dogs allowed but assistance dogs welcome.

Opening Times

What is the start/end time of the event?

The start time is 12 pm for early entrance tickets and 1 pm for all other ticket holders.

Our timed ticked is 1 pm, can we stay all day?

Yes, you are welcome to stay for as long as you like. We do however ask that you do not arrive before the time on the ticket.

Can we arrive earlier in the day of the event?

No. However you are welcome to visit the café at Wentworth Woodhouse earlier in the day.

Will there be any food and drinks on site?

There will be food and drinks traders on site. We recommend bringing picnics and foldable chairs – there will be a picnic area on-site. Also, the Wentworth Woodhouse’s café will be open, however, it will not be accessible from the WE Wonders site.

Weather

What happens if it is raining or boiling hot?

Please come prepared! We recommend that you bring weather appropriate clothing and footwear for the outdoors. Unless the weather presents a safety issue, the event will go ahead as normal. Please be aware paths are uneven in places and may be slippery underfoot in poor weather, so please wear suitable footwear. There will a limited shelter.

If the rain or any extreme weather conditions present a safety issue, notification of cancellation will be made on Wentworth Woodhouse website and social media, WE Great Place Facebook and Twitter as well as through an email notification. Please see your ticket terms and conditions for the refund policy.

Please note:

To ensure everybody’s enjoyment of the event, visitors are requested not to bring alcohol on to the site. Glass and knives are also not permitted on site. Please also note that bag searches will be in operation. Event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour which The Management considers inappropriate or unacceptable. This is a zero tolerance event and anyone found in possession of illegal or controlled substances will be handed to the police and ejected from the site. Anyone found to be partaking in anti-social behaviour, undertaking actions that may cause harm and distress to others, or actions that may lead to the compromising the event in any way will be ejected from the site.

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian over the age of 18 at all times, with a maximum of 4 children per accompanying adult. Children under 3 may enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
