This was a 3rd tough game this week for Leeds against a Spurs team who also lost in midweek.
So could Leeds stop conceding goals and get back to winning ways or would Spurs pile the misery on Leeds?
It was at an atmospheric Elland Road before kickoff, would it be like that later?
After three minutes, a brilliant Leeds freekick and Struijk glanced it on with a header, but it fizzed just wide.
Two minutes later, Son shot goalwards but Meslier there to collect it.
After seven minutes, good play by Doherty and Kulusevski and Kane’s chipped shot went wide.
1st Spurs goal – good play
After ten minutes, Winks played Sessegnon in down the left, he crossed and Doherty was there to hammer home.
Three minutes later, Sessegnon sent cross in, Kulusevski was there but cleared by Leeds and Meslier collected the corner.
2nd Spurs goal – Good play again
After a quarter of a hour, Kulusevski played a 1-2 with Doherty down the left, drove into the area beating every Leeds shirt, before slotting into the far corner, this was disastrous already for Leeds.
A couple of minutes later, Leeds unlucky as Raphinha poked a ball into Koch’s pass and Koch’s scuffed shot hit the post.
3rd Spurs goal – poor defending
With not even half a hour gone and it was three as Hojberg slotted a brilliant ball for Kane’s run behind Llorente, it was a brilliant finish by Kane as it went into the far corner, VAR checked but he was onside, there were boos around Elland Road, could Leeds do anything to stop Spurs?
Just after the half hour, Leeds weren’t switched on as a freekick was sent forward and Sessegnon was in down the left, tried his luck but Meslier made vital save.
A couple of minutes later, Raphinha sent a Leeds freekick in and numerous Leeds players went for the ball, but it was just about cleared by Spurs.
After 38 minutes, Raphinha went to shoot from top of the area, it hit Davies on the elbow, VAR checked but nothing given, play went on and Raphinha sent a cross in from left but Lloris stuck a hand out.
A minute before halftime, more good Leeds play and Ayling had a free header on the right of the area, but it went wide.
In 1st half stoppage time , it was nearly four for Spurs, but the ball pinged off Llorente’s leg and looped into Meslier’s hands?

It was another first half to forget for Leeds , could they avoid another hammering?
After 49 minutes, Raphinha’s freekick but Lloris collected. Then a super Spurs break led by Kane as he played a ball off for Kulusevski but he was offside.
Seven minutes later, Son’s brilliant run through midfield with Llorente unable to stop him , he got a shot away but straight at Meslier. A minute later, Rodrigo shot well wide. A minute later, Kane picked Doherty’s run out down the right with a superb floated ass, a inviting cross went to Sessegnon and he drove to meet it but didn’t get there and smacked his ankle into the post.
Just after the hour, Kane again set Doherty away, he tried to chip Meslier, but he sread himself to make the save, Son tried his luck but Koch there to clear.
After 64 minutes, Sessegnon was picked out down the left, he got past defender but shot hit the side netting.
Two minutes later, Klich was clipped by Kulusevski but no pen, VAR agreed, A minute later, Kulusevski strode into area and tried to find neat corner, but Meslier saved.
After 69 minutes, Leeds freekick played short to Forshaw whose shot was blocked rebound went well wide.
Three minutes later, Kulusevski shaped from top of area but Dallas was there to block.
With a quarter of a hour left, Spurs corner which Son took short, received it back and did a mazy run on the byline but his flick cleared by Firpo.
A couple of minutes later, a huge Leeds chance as Lloris came off his line to meet Dallas, his attempted clearance hit Dallas’ leg, enabling Dallas in on goal, he had a open goal and he only had to find the net or square it to Raphinha, he went for goal but took too long and Spurs defence cleared.
After 82 minutes, Leeds broke quickly through Raphinha who did well to find James on edge of box but shot went past post.
Two minutes later, Kane’s defence splititng pass set Reguilon on goal, but having just keeper to beat he couldnt squeeze it past.
4th Spurs goal – Another easy goal
A minute later, the Kane and Son partnership worked again as Kane picked possession up deep inside own half, before releasing Son on goal with a long range pass, and Son kept his cool to finish past Meslier and he and Kane recorded their 37th goal as a partnership.
In stoppage time, Raphinha’s freekick curled round the wall, but hit the outside of the post.

Another horrific afternoon for Leeds as they got thrashed again, were we seeing the end of the Marcelo Bielsa era at Leeds United?
The news Leeds fans dreaded broke on Sunday morning as Leeds confirmed they had parted company with Marcelo Bielsa.
The adventure they had under him for 3 and a half years was amazing, he got them back up to the Premier League and had a wonderful 1st season, playing some amazing football but for whatever reason this season it hasn’t worked out. He will be a Leeds legend, and they are planning a permanent tribute of him at Elland Road.
Leeds remained in 15th after this game, but other results on Saturday meant they dropped a place to 16th on 23 points only two points ahead of Burnley.

Next for Leeds is a trip to the Midlands to face Leicester on Saturday 5th March 2022 as Leeds try to get over Bielsa’s sacking and try and get vital points in their battle to stay up.
