WordFest 2021 Led by Wakefield Libraries as part of Festival of the Earth, WordFest 2021 combines the power of our spoken and written language through poetry, theatre, debate, song and creative writing with the Festival of the Earth climate change and sustainability themes. The festival ends with a spectacular free pop-up immersive exhibition at WX (former Wakefield Market Hall, Union Street) during half term week 23-30 October open 10am-4pm daily. | With now being a big brother, our son sometimes just wants a bit of Mummy time to himself! We recently went to see Paw Patrol the Movie at Reel Cinema in The Ridings Shopping Centre and had a great time! The tickets were bought online at a bargain price of £2.50 each and all cinema visits include free parking too (just let them know at the entrance tills).
