When you’re hunting for a bargain or a place to pew this summer, you may be in for a roaring surprise at The Ridings Shopping Centre.
Two huge dinosaurs have made the centre their home as part of the Jurassic Wakey trail.
The Ridings Centre manager Lee Appleton, said: “We welcome a Velociraptor and a surprise visit from his/her friend the Allosaurus to the centre, they just need a name.”
There’s a roarsome prize for the person who finds the best name for the two of them, to enter just put the names in the comments box below the dinosaurs.
The lucky winner will receive a LEGO 76946 Jurassic World Blue and Beta Velociraptor Capture with Truck and 2 Dinosaur Toys For Kids Aged 6 Plus, 2022 Dominion Movie Inspired Set.
So make sure you pay a visit to the shopping centre and while you shop, grab a coffee or a bite to eat have a think of what you would name the dinosaurs.
You can find the Velociraptor and his/her friend the Allosaurus outside the food court near the tree bar.
Wakefield BID Dinosaur Trail 
Wakefield BID dinosaur’s event has already begun with the trail and culminates in a dinosaur spectacular.
This popular event has been extended to a 2-week period with the 2-day Dinosaur extravaganza in the Bull Ring, Wakefield City Centre.
Roam the city centre discovering lifelike displays of prehistoric creatures from a time long forgotten, wander the city with their augmented reality app, revealing full size beasts roaming around corner of the centre city and then if you dare, come along to our Dinosaur spectacular on the 3rd & 4th September to see in all their glory these magical beasts at this totally free event during August and September.
